Description
The building of the former Vasco da Gama Factory, located on Rua Sousa Aroso, was built in the 1960s and housed sheet metal working, lithography and sales departments. This industrial facility remained in operation until 1995, when it ceased trading for good.
Today, the building is known as the Exhibition Pavilion of the Former Vasco da Gama Factory. Restored by Matosinhos City Council, it has been transformed into a multifunctional space for cultural events, exhibitions and creative initiatives.
